About me – how it all began

Hey,

My name is Luc and I'll just tell you how all this came about.

Like many magicians, it all started in childhood. I received a magic set for Christmas. As soon as the case was open, I had practically no patience. I was absolutely convinced that I could perform the magic tricks immediately – without any practice at all.

It must have been quite an adventurous, impromptu magic show for my family. As you know, my family is very suspicious, and nobody believed in my supposed superpowers.

The magic box eventually ended up in the attic and gathered dust there for many years.

At 17, I completed an apprenticeship as a bartender, collected various diplomas, and worked my way up in the hospitality industry. Behind the bar, I quickly realized: there has to be something more exciting than just watching guests sit in front of the TV or the newspaper. So I began to enchant my bar patrons.

I pieced together the magic tricks from old magic books. I practiced a lot on my own, worked with mirrors, filmed myself, and analyzed my performances to constantly improve them.

A year later, I was also performing at events for adults and children. I gained valuable experience at hundreds of events. I even accompanied a large magic show on tour, acquiring a great deal of technical know-how in the process. I built or developed all the tricks myself. I constantly tinkered, crafted, and improved.

Gradually, a real magic workshop was created.

Then came Corona. During this time, I wrote a children's magic book. Within a year, 2000 copies were sold. At the same time, I also helped out temporarily with the marketing of a magic shop.

And at some point it became clear: Now it's time for my own magic shop.

The idea behind it was simple from the start. I wanted to market my magic tricks myself, but not in the traditional sense with complicated props. My tricks should work with everyday objects, without lengthy preparation or elaborate crafting.

My goal was to create short, very simple, visual, yet powerful magic tricks. Tricks that absolutely anyone can learn – children as well as adults.

The shop should be just as easy to set up: individual tricks immediately available for purchase, the video available directly after purchase, everything clearly and concisely structured.

I have many more visions and ideas for the future. This shop is just the beginning.
